Welcome to Little Haven
Originally built in the first half of the last century, Little Haven has been improved and modernised but remains full of character and charm.
The quaint cottage appearance of the outside is contradicted by the grand lounge with its high, beamed ceiling and large open fireplace. The lounges, dining area and bedrooms offer spectacular views across the Hayle estuary, famous for it’s varied and rare bird life.
The fully equipped kitchen opens out into the dining conservatory, which has double doors to the garden via a spacious deck. The bedrooms have a real beach house feel and open out into the wonderfully light reading lounge with its wide folding doors that take you out onto the sandstone patio. The grounds extend on all sides of the property, totalling almost half an acre, with both front and rear gardens. The raised front garden includes a large gravelled parking area and several towering palm trees, the rear has two terraced lawns with trees and scattered flower beds. Outbuildings provide a laundry room, outside toilet and open air shower. Solar panels provide heating for the water in summer months.
The village of Lelant is just a mile from the A30 and 5 miles from St Ives with its tiny cobbled streets and numerous art Galleries. The small coastal railway to St Ives stops at two stations within Lelant. Two renowned pubs are only a few minutes walk away, while the white sands and rolling dunes of Porthkidney Beach are also within walking distance, not to mention the fabulous West Cornwall Golf Course which sits just above the beach.
